Did anyone see where Stafford got injured???? I heard Lindy mention it during his post game report and that "He'll be out for sometime."

From the Sabres.com game recap:
Quote:
- Drew Stafford suffered an upper body injury and did not return to the game after logging 6:13 TOI . He recorded three shots on goal in the first period.

Can we expect an update on Stafford later this morning of his "upper body injury?"

If Stafford misses some time, it will be good for him. He had many opportunities to dig in, or score goals. They were not good enough. Time away from the ice will help him realize what he needs to do. So far, he has not learned from last season. His absence will be no huge loss.

It's a heart problem. In that, he plays without one...

Well then the whole team needs to be put on IR

He has a brain disorder, too. Not having one makes it difficult to score goals.

I heard he died.

If that happened, he finally took Lindy's advice of digging in seriously by digging his grave alone.

We are now 3-0-1 without Drew Stafford in the lineup. Yep, miss ya too, Staffy ;)

Ditto. He must have dug too far to fall into eternal hell.

How atrocious is the record with him playing? Nevermind. The Sabres play better without Stafford; therefore, he needs to be traded swiftly if he returns.

I think whenever Gerbe was in, they sat McCormick.

Is there any update this week on Stafford? The only thing that matters is how soon he returns to be traded.

He still isn't talking to the media about his injury.

That is typical for someone who does not want to dig in and admit his failure.

What if it is not an injury and a statement to say, "I'm done here," and changes everything?

I thought he had a separated brain, head, or team. Oh well.
