It is unfortunate to see Roy out for significant time. I hope we can pull a trade for a scoring center soon to fill his absence; otherwise, existing players need to step up their scoring in big ways. |

This is a devastating loss. I'll try to be resilient and look at the positives. The Sabres will get a top 5 draft pick for sure! Connolly will get more ice time and better wingers so he MIGHT improve his trade value for the deadline! Lindy Ruff might get to stay on as coach for another year! No sarcasm here, I like his coaching style a lot despite some nagging disagreements I have (goalies, break out, etc..). That's about it. Maybe Rivet can up his trade value too, and sweet God I hope they can move Pomminville some how. |
