Announced yesterday during a press conference, the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena will play host to three IIHF WJC games this year - 12/21 Slovakia v Norway & 12/23 Russia v Slovakia and Norway v USA. This is easily the biggest thing to happen to Jamestown and Chautauqua County. I'm fucking psyched. |

Can't believe the quality of teams that are going to be there too. USA, Russia, Slovakia, those are all 3 teams that will compete beyond the first round. |

Awesome! I may be visiting my grandmother who lives in Dunkirk during that time, and I've got some hockey fans in my family that'll want to go. |

I just got an e-mail from the JSBIA general manager that implies I'm gonna have media access to the Jamestown WJC games... |

i work for the jets JR A team and am doing the sound for the games, so i have all access pass to everything, ill be sure to keep you guys posted, slovakia arrived today and i got to chat with some of them, real nice kids, its a great time to be a hockey fan in jamestown! |

WHAT AN AMAZING NIGHT!....2000 people cheering for usa in my town!...goals galore, cheers, i am just so unbelivably happy i got to be there and work this!!.....run so well!.....pics to follow! |
