How was Mancari tonight? I missed most of the game. I guess I noticed him more in parts of this one than I did in other call ups, but I didn't see anything spectacular.

Honestly, he looked bleh. He got tossed around by the Rangers' defensemen like he was nothin, which is nothing new to his style of play. I was really disappointed, as he normally comes out ball-to-the-wall right when he's called up.

I was just about to ask how he played, too. I saw none of the game. So he played crappy? How sad. We should dump him before our next game. Bring up Cowan, or McCormick.

McCormick might be something but cowan is a career AHLer. and the sabres would call up a prospect before the fill in guys. give the prospect a bit of life in the NHL, try to make them work harder.

Is Gerbe playing or is he injured too?

It's a shame he got hurt last time he was up here. He was playing pretty well.

I didn't think Mancari looked bad, just not really noticeable in too many ways.

Well it's good that he's going to get more than one game. He might just need some transition time.

Mancari didn't play that bad he made some decent plays. People have to know most young players aren't going to step right into the lineup and become a Teemu Selane. Their an adjustment period. I think the guy needs to play at least 10 games or more before an assessment can be done. The only thing he needs to do is use his big body of his to his advantage. My only problem with that is the coaching staff should be pounding this into his head of his so he understands what he needs to do to stay at the NHL level.

its a question of his work ethic and attitude. if he fixes both, and hell, if he just works pretty hard on the ice, he can be an impact player. if he does those things.
