edmonton could probably use gerbe. its clear there isnt room and a role for him on the sabres, yet he could potentially help other teams. the oil could use him, and he could come cheap to them.

i dunno, just kinda what im thinking. at 23 years old, hes learning all he can at the AHL, its time to shit or get off the pot. and it looks like hes going to spend another year in the A, at least to start.

bingo. the bottom two lines are historically for more hitting and grind it out hockey. gerbes size alone eliminates him from that role, even if his heart (.....) wants to. a player his size is a top 6 player or bust, and for the sabres, thats a big bust right now.

Claiming Ennis and Gerbe didn't work hard means you missed a lot, as they were two of Buffalo's hardest-working players. Especially Ennis.
