Reggie has been great this season. You want to get pissed at any defender this year, it has to be Myers. I know I'm gonna catch heat for this, but the dude can't get a shot through this year, and is over thinking his game. Someone needs to tell him just to play, because he has (had) the best stay at home defensive partner he could ask for.

Hoping Shone isn't out long, because if he is, it's going to get worse before it gets better.

I couldn't agree more, and I love the guy. He seems to have stopped thinking about the plays he's making. Last year he had incredible hockey sense and just about every play was a good one. So far this season, it's been quite the opposite. He makes plays without thinking. He rushes the puck but makes seemingly no effort to move around the guy in front of him and tries to go through instead of around. Maybe he bought too much into the idea of himself being so good or bought into the idea that he almost has to have a sophomore slump. Whatever it is, he needs to get his act together.

If Miller and Myers were playing like they did last year, we'd probably be over 500 right now.

If I had decided to jerk off instead, I probably wouldn't be paying child support...

Sekera has probably been the best defenseman in blue and gold so far this season IMO. He didn't play Kovalchuk well on the game-ending goal, but he hasn't established a pattern of mistakes yet, and his heart has been in his game.

Yeah, he's fast and has a good amount of skill. needs to pay better attention to positioning and throwing some hits wouldn't kill him either.

leopold has been the best in the first few games.

He wasn't supposed to be playing Kovalchuk, he was wrestling with Taormina for the puck. How was he supposed to play Kovalchuk when currently engaged with another player, clone himself?

yes, cloning is the new thing to do in hockey while you need to cover 2 guys.
