Kaleta never returned after this hit he received early in the game . Anyone have any word on him?

I don't know how perfectly he played that hit but Subban hit Kaleta in the back. Wonder if Kaleta started to have some numbness and that's why they kept him out.

Deleted the word massive since after watching it again it wasn't huge. Decent hit tho

He hit Kaleta on the side and the momentum carried him onto his back where he rolled off.

couldn't have been that serious.. wasn't he sitting on the bench towards the end of the game? i thought i saw him. i remember wondering why kaleta was benched..

Proly cuz he doesn't have much by way of hockey skill, and the game was past the point where his "energy" would have done anything to help the team.

Then again, I was about 3 pitchers in at that point, so my recollection of the game and what actually happened may vary.
