A player's plus-minus rating could be helpful at times. It is sad when you cannot use it to clearly relay a message a player played badly in a specific game.

25 points this year, 31 last year, 45 the year before.

He is good, but I hate the "he won a Cup" argument. Andre Roy has a ring and Derek Roy doesn't, being part of a Cup winner doesn't make a player more skilled than he is.
