I see where you're coming from, ETC, and you taught me something since I didn't know that Mair was more of a C/RW than the usual C/LW combination. Taking that kind of logic into account, I'd probably prefer Paille over Mair as well.

Paille is a natural leftwinger whose skill game far more resembles Vanek than does Mair's, who is strictly a grinding, rightwing/center. If I have to choose one or the other in an effort to maintain continuity, the one I'm picking is Paille. Perhaps Danny has pissed off Lindy with a bad attitude, because on the surface this decision makes no sense.

Unless Mair has truly outplayed him at practice.

The way that guy moves sometimes, I wouldn't be TOO surprised.

Some games, Mair is a machine. Others, he seems quiet.

At any rate, I'm excited to see which Mair shows up tomorrow night.

Regardless of who plays, here's hoping we win big again by sticking to this beautiful system.

Buy into The System. Stick to The System, through thick and thin. Always follow, never deviate from, The System.

FUCK !!!! PAILLE IS BACK IN THE LINE UP....THAT LITTLE FAGGOT...I HOPE HE GETS HIS LIGAMENTS TORN ON HIS FIRST SHIFT ~!!!!!

Paille sucks, and i have no clue what management and lot of the fans here see in him....he hardly has ever given 100%.......hardly hits....has barely any offensive moves....and rarely connects when he does have a scoring chance....so maybe he can play a little defense....we have plenty of players, ie" kaleta, grier, etc. that can do that....

LETS GET THIS CLOWN OUT OF TOWN !!!!

sorry but i am rooting for him to either get a season ending injury, or he makes his way out of town via a darcy trade...yeah right

Manning the machine gun on the Tyler Myers Bandwagon - just in case any teams have an idea of prying him away from us (3 GM's shot already)

It's hardly a joke....that's how i feel about paille....he may have done well in junior hockey....but not here....granted i have been in new england for about 5 years, and i have only had center ice 3 x i think...so far i have seen nothing from him that impresses me....am i missing something ?

if you are on the paille bandwagon, and feel he deserves a spot in our lineup then please explain...thanks MILM

No, it's one thing for you to not be impressed with him, but entirely another to root for him to tear apart his knee. I think you better make a retraction, and quick.

He definitely deserves a shot since he's on our roster and Vanek is injured.

Paille's main issue has been consistency, but he's shown that he can do great things.

At the ripe age of 25 this season, it's certainly do or die at this point.

But to suggest you want to see him injured rather than succeed and help us win hockey games tonight is a little too much.

Uh, yea, what PSP and ETC said. Paille has shown great garbage goal-scoring ability and a willingness to throw his body around like an angry pinball. Shit, last season, he skated smack into Price AND a Hab defender, presumably to send a message. Want proof, MILM?

That would be Danny Paille doing his best angry cannonball impression. If he could be consistent, I would have no problem seeing him in the lineup.

EDIT: You're going to have to right-click the word "image" and select "View image"

yeah, while i dont want paille to get hurt, i think it shows alot about him that hes out of the line up and the sabres tried and tried and couldnt trade him this summer. the dudes never going to amount to anything.

phil....i'd love to see him be an angry pinball and run over other goalies and defenseman on a consistent basis...i'm not saying he has never had a good shift or good game....but they are way to far and in between....to me i'd just be happy to see him off the roster
