i read on the twitter today the sha-mo was at roch, but kots was not on the ice, so i think the al going on a euro trip rumor may have some legs

Kots is supposed to be on the plane, and it's not to play so...

Maybe the team will have a big drunken bash at a beer hall in Germany as a going away party. Well maybe they can't but I would.

i actually feel bad for al. sure i didn't want him on this sabres team, but i was happy to hear he was coming here to rochester. after everything he's said i thought it was a step in the right direction to revitalize his career.

He's been assigned to the Czech Republic league team Jindrichuv Hrade; he's probably played his last NHL game, but he's certainly not going to be done playing hockey. I think this is the best thing for him as a person, go back to his roots and be happy.

I wish him luck, and hope to see him in some IIHF play, and possibly on the next Czech Olympic team.

Yep, he's back, however the team is Ceske Budejovice. He said in interview that Buffalo didn't insist on keeping him in Rochester and gave him a free hand to look for a new club to play for. There are two options if I am right. Budejovice can pay some compensation but I highly doubt they will. He will most likely play in Budejovice and Buffalo can recall him if they want.
