What do you mean "what if"? We've all watched the games and we know what kind of shots Miller has faced. The Montreal game alone proves that the quality of shots he's faced has been legit.
Your singling out that one game. Like I said before not in every game he faces a decent amount of good shots. I'm just saying SV% and GAA at this point are not great things to look at to give Miller the benefit of the doubt. If you can exempt Wins this early on this season, you can do the same with SV% and GAA. Plus Ottawa and Toronto both have starting goalies with pretty bad SV% and GAA's and yet they are performing at a pretty good level.
I singled out the Montreal game as more of a joke; however, my point still stands. You speak as if we haven't been watching the games (or at least you haven't). I've watched all of the games except for the second loss to Tampa Bay and I don't think Miller has had it easy (or Enroth for that matter). He might have had an easy night against Florida, but he got a shutout so I'll forgive him there.
I never said anything about exempting wins early in a season?? I just said that save percentage is a better stat to judge a goalie by. Like I said, if a goalie is on a shitty team, you can still tell if he's good enough by his save percentage (Luongo on Florida).
By the way, Reimer's stats aren't bad.
