Vanek is out with a back injury; which he received while carrying the team....

No one is going to argue that we wouldn't be a better team if healthy.

However; Myers was (a couple games aside) performing well below where he had been. He's still an upgrade over the current group.

Gerbe, Ennis, Hecht, and Leino aren't exactly the kind of players who teams will fear, upon their return.

There are bigger issues with this team than the injuries. They need to own up to it, and take steps to correct them. Amazing how many people are letting this team off the hook because of excuses. These excuses have been used regularly for the past five years.

This team sure has a hell of a lot of Mulligan's to use.....

Naw man other than Adam or Pominville it's usually Vanek. And no it's not just Malkin look at Neal racking up goals like it's nobodies business.

And honestly the word "stars" in your comment should be singular. Right now there is one star and that's Vanek. You could make a case for Poms. And Miller all I got to say is he's 8-8-2 with a 3.11 GAA... For us to even think playoff success we need more than 1 star.
