I'm pretty convinced Myers doesn't have the green light to fight. All he'd have to do was murder somebody once so people know what he's capable of, and a lot of guys would think twice before they tried shit with him on the ice.

It would be truly amazing to see Tyler Myers light someone up, because that's not his personality or style.

He is as likely to light someone up as Pavel Kubina, Blake Wheeler, Taylor Pyatt, or Nik Antropov are. All big men; none of them overly physical. None of them fighters.

Nathan Gerbe is more likely to light someone up.

honestly I never liked gaustad and I'm hoping this years his last in a Sabres uni but he was right on to say something to them. Everyones pickin on Sabres for the Lucic/Miller hit and Sabres players just really sat back and took it. But this time Gaustad actually had a good comeback and the poor Canadiens start crying. Like Gaustad said you gotta have tough skin when your out there.

I loved Carey Price's comments about Gaustad on how he really doesn't do anything out there lol. With last night the exception couldn't be further from the truth.

Did Myers do much fighting back in his "younger" league? I seem to think that he did, but I confess I have no proof. Just something I *think* he said once.

He did a little bit, but from what I've been told, he didn't have the green light to fight down there either. His coaches didn't want him spending 5 minutes in the penalty box. They all needed him playing 25-30 minutes per game.
