Leave me out of this group hug, I'm just here to argue. lol

On a more serious note, I don't think this team has a chance in hell of making the playoffs anymore. NJ pounded us just like we should have thought they would. Ted Black can make up all the shit he wants, but until he faces reality, we're fucked. Sure, we've been good at home lately, but any fool can see we need more(or less) than what we currently have. If this team goes with the status quo, we might compete next year, but I don't see any real game changers in the pipeline. A few of those guys will be good players, but I just don't see any of them being the 'legit top talent' that can put us where we need to be as far as winning a championship goes. I think even the most patient of positive thinking fans is even beginning to realize this.

Watching the fairly lackadaisical play for the first 55 minutes really confirms what you said daz. I was holding on hope, but this team didn't play like one who was hungry for points last night, until the last 4 minutes.

Also - didn't Roy take 2 or 3 tripping penalties that game? I would love to see him traded.

Hey man you gotta be part of the group hug!!

Honestly I'm running out of patience with this particular cast of players. I'm hoping to god that Roy leaves on deadline. Same goes for Stafford. Next year will be better for us only if those 2 are gone and a trade for a true #1 center. Getzlaf honestly seems like the best guy for now+ the future. Miller seems like the goalie they'd want and if we don't make any headway in the standings I'm the coming 2 seasons he will end up leaving

Just one question, if Stafford were to be traded does that mean Yakub goes with him as well?lol

The Ducks have been playing great lately, Hiller has been great also.

The Ducks wouldn't want Miller and won't trade Getzlaf now. 8 points out of a playoff spot, points in 6 straight games, points in 16 of their last 18 games and 14 of them were wins.

We can forget about Getzlaf unless they take a serious dump from here to the deadline.

That's right baby, the Ducks are on FIRE! Just finished off the Pens tonight allowing 1 goal on a back-to-back road trip. They will be a highly feared team if they squeak into the playoffs. Look out red winged wheels. Boy would that ever be poetry in motion.

Hitchcock and BFB proving that a coaching change is a good idea if you like your roster. Hint hint.

The one thing about the ducks is they took awhile to adjust to fat Boudreau "style" but I would love to see a new coach that isn't Ruff.

Excellent! (insert picture of Mr. Burns)

Now they have a truly legit shot at the #3 pick...even #2 if Edmonton can pick things up. Come on Darcy! Sell off vets and replace them with un-ready rookies that will wilt under Lindy's coaching, assisting this downward spiral and cementing a chance at Grigorenko/Yakupov/Galchenyuk! If you can do ANYTHING right this season, this is it! This is your time to shine!!!

Some would call it "tanking", but in the world of law enforcement this is called a "tactical retreat". When you're out-manned or out-gunned, re-group with reenforcements and come back stronger. Let's do this!

Lets get that number one overall pick.

someone tell Miller to just let in 5 goals a game and tank the last 20+ games.
