FWIW, here are the back-to-backs for the season, and who I would start...

Oct 16 - NYI - Miller - win
Oct 17 - Atl - Lalime - loss

Oct 30 - Tor (Miller)
Oct 31 - NYI (Lalime)

Nov 6 - Phi (Lalime)
Nov 7 - Bos (Miller, plus every chance for him to beat Thomas)

Nov 13 - Cal (Lalime)
Nov 14 - Phi (Miller)

Nov 20 - Bos (Miller)
Nov 20 - Ott (Lalime)

Nov 27 - Phi (Miller)
Nov 28 - Car (Lalime)

Dec 11 - Chi (Lalime)
Dec 12 - NYR (Miller)

Dec 18 - Tor (probably Lalime at this point)
Dec 19 - Pit (probably Miller)

Dec 26 - Ott (Miller)
Dec 27 - StL (Lalime)

Jan 8 - Tor (Miller)
Jan 9 - Col (Lalime)

Jan 18 - Pho (Miller)
Jan 19 - Ana (Lalime)

Feb 5 - Car (Miller, since I'll be at that game)
Feb 6 - Clb (Lalime)

Mar 2 - Pit (Lalime)
Mar 3 - Was (Miller)

Mar 12 - Min (Lalime)
Mar 13 - Det (Miller)

Mar 20 - Fla (Lalime)
Mar 21 - Car (Miller, since I'll be there again)

Mar 26 - Ott (Miller)
Mar 27 - TB (Lalime)

Apr 10 - Ott (depends on the standings)
Apr 11 - NJ (depends)

Can't really argue a lot with your logic. I think you should have Miller starting both in a few of those since he undoubtedly will. I hope Miller goes agaisnt Clags since I'll be at that one.

Miller in tonight, Lalime tommorow I'm guessing.
This is smart for sure since we have a much better chance of losing to the worst team in the league with Patty in.

that way if Lalime shits a brick on saturday, in the fans mind it goes "Hey, we won friday(hopefully), our backup was in, and we played last night... so its not that big of a deal"
especially since tonights the home game also

Losing to the Leafs would be just embarrassing.

Guess it was a real good idea to put Miller in tonight. Lalime would have crumbled.

No Morning Skate for Sabres

So I guess we'll have to wait until puck drop to see whether it's Miller or Lalime tonight. Gaustad is still out, and Ruff said last night that several players are ill...that write up says that Kaleta may be among the group of sick players since he had such limited ice time last night.

We'll be like Montreal last year. Or was it two years ago? I don't remember exactly. It was hilarious, though.
