....what're you trying to do here, Rob? Give me a "woody" or something?

That'll not happen. Ever.

We need someone like Bowser!! :D

Actually I think we do - we have Roy AND Connolly, IMHO, in order to be successful, we can live with either one or the other, but we need a big, strong, center on ONE of the top two lines.

My two sense

Interesting Wyohomeboy, interesting indeed. If we had to give up 1 of these 2 guys, who would it be? Good two cents by the way. Connolly I think would bring in a bigger fish if he was packaged with Hecht or Tallinder.

At this point, I'd trade them all for picks. Hell, I'd rather dress the friggin filet-o-fish before I would send some of these slackers out there.

Pillage the Ducks roster.
Ryan Getzlaf, he is one I would like to see centering for Buf as well. It would take a hell of a trade.
Corey Perry on RW as well.

I got it - Vanek + Pommers + Hecht + picks/prospects or Sekjera for Getzlaf and Perry. No?

Nylander's cap number is near $5 million.

The Sabres have less than $2 million in available cap space.

The Caps waived him because he is more untradeable than Jochen Hecht.
