Awesome story. When I was young, I don't remember anyone local getting a shot in the NHL. Just goes to show what kind of talent Buffalo is turning out Kennedy, Kaleta, Stempniak, and Kane....impressive

It's a phrase that basically means, if you wanna see the Sabres at the top, turn the rankings.

Anyone think he should do something about those teeth?

...nah. He's tough. Love the teeth...

:D

He can fix 'em some time down the road, and wear a bridge when he does public appearances.

I dig his missing tooth. Old time hockey. Like Eddie Shore, coach! ;)

El Matador and Patches are missing teeth, too. Love it.

He might be, who knows?

I love how goddamned scrappy he is. He takes no shit whatsoever. Hasn't dropped the gloves yet, but he makes full use of his lumber. He's a feisty little fucker, with some skill to compliment the grinder inside him.

He's fiesty, which is good.

But a fighter he is not. I honestly wouldn't want to see him just get knocked right out if he got into a fight. We are all forgetting Tim Kennedy isn't as big as he plays. He is only 5' 10" and 173 pounds.

Remember, this guy is a future top 6 forward, and he won't have to play as fiesty as he does now. His skill is why he is here, and he probably has the best offensive upside on the third line.

Probably has? Sky, I think you need to watch. He IS the third line's offense haha

And yea, I agree, when he makes it to his future top-six spot, he won't have to be so scrappy. But what's to stop him from getting punchy with 20 Cent? :D

Remember, I don't get to watch every game living out of market, which really sucks.

I'd love for his fiestiness to go around on the top 6 guys. Make them all play that hard again. They need to play hard to win, and he is just the kid to show them how to.

He's gotten close to fighting, but the linesmen stepped in quick. He's shown a tendency to go after a guy, regardless of size. No fear in that boy.

I cannot wait til he gets more offensively minded linemates and his scoring goes boffo.

Awesome. Glad he is showing the others why he belongs.
