I cannot imagine what kind of suspension will be handed out if someone seriously hurts crosby...

The league is cracking down on these hits across the whole league. Briere got a 2 game suspension for a hit from behind so its not just guys like Kaleta.

That being said, this hit wasn't that bad. The guy turned his back to Kaleta just before the hit. Kaleta had no way to avoid it as he was already committed to the hit at that time.
