When did we lose 4 in a row?

The most we lost this year have been 3. I don't acre if you lost a game very badly, because that shit happens. It's how they come out and break a losing streak and continue to win. We lost two in a row, we've won three in a row after those two losses. Before that, we won 4 in a row.

Every team has embarrassing losses, you think the Caps getting shut out 3-0 wasn't embarrassing for them, especially for not getting shut out in 11 months?

Daz, stop being so fucking pessimistic about a good team who is winning. If they don't make the playoffs or start losing every fucking game from here on out you will have won, but you're attitude against the team thinking they are complete and utter shit is getting sickening. Look at the record, we are 19-9-2, FIRST in our Division, 3rd in the conference with 40 points. there is only 3 teams who have more points than us in the East, and each one of those teams have played more games than us, the Devils might have only played one more, but we are not a bad team, quite with the fucking attitude.

Nov 18th-21st.

Easy killer. I'm not being pessimistic at all. Noting hot/cold streaks isn't subjective at all. The only part of this team I'm questioning now is the offense. Not sure if it's the forwards or the system. Other than that, I'm ok with most everything.

No, I was joking around about the 1st post where he said "sure some games were close".. Some people think that winning a close game is not impressive and it doesn't make our team look good..

Who thinks that? I've been watching hockey forever, and the Hasek era certainly gave any dedicated Sabre fan an appreciation of "the close game". I think you(and a few other posters lately) are just being snarky(which could also be considered a breach of the no douche-bags policy). I'm not coming at you personally bro, just reminding people that we are ALL Sabre fans. There aren't 2 different kinds of fans here.

Also, the 7-2 avoids the 4 embarrassing loses in a row before that. While I agree that we may be getting hot, it seems to be somewhat deceiving.

Before those 4 losses we were 12-5. Every team is going to have a couple cold streaks throughout the year unless they're a juggernaut, and we sure as hell know we're not one of those.

The Sares have demonstrated that they belong in the conversation discussing the top NHL teams. I think any of us would have taken that heading into the season.

Even if a team is a juggernaut, it will still have a couple cold streaks. We had a couple three-game losing skids in 06-07, and the Sabres won the Presidents Trophy that year.

When they are deviations from the norm, cold streaks mean absolutely nothing and are not at all indicative of what a team truly is; neither are hot streaks, if it's a team in last place that wins five in a row.

I think some of us expected it.

The Sares? So a new NHL team is already in the top of the NHL talks, AWESOME.
