VIDEO: Miller’s time to shine

"When the Buffalo Sabres drafted Ryan Miller in the fifth round of the 1999 draft they couldn’t have imagined they were getting the future backbone of their franchise.

Fast-forward 10 years and the native of East Lansing, Mich., is not only the Sabres MVP, but has also established himself as one of the premier goaltenders in the world. This season Miller leads the league in goals-against average, save percentage and is tied for the lead in shutouts with four. And with his dominant play the 29-year-old has likely earned the starting position for the United States at the Vancouver Olympics."

A pretty meteoric rise for Miller the last 4 years if you think about it. 4 years ago Robert Esche got the nod for the US team over Ryan, not to start, but just make the team. It's pretty hard to imagine that now.

Well done Ryan, no matter what happens from here on.

Ryan Miller, although one of the highest payed player on the Sabres, is by far the best bargain.

Psh...speak for yourself. Everyone who I've argued with over the years calling me a puck bunny fan girl for loving Ryan Miller can just go fuck themselves. (Not directed towards you, Pants.) :D
