Sorry, I had to make it.. Give Fly credit for the idea for this thead.. We need it for all you bipolar fans.. Well Miller is the reason for the optimism.. #1 goalie in the game right now.. That may translate to the Sabres being the #1 team at the end of the year because when it comes to that playoffs, a hot goalie can win you that cup..

Squanto is gonna have a stroke.

Anyways, I think you're spot on giving the credit to Miller. The game could have been much closer. The top 6 didn't look like we wanted them to(as you already said) either.

At least I'm happy and in a good mood now.

Gerbe for Conn Smythe baby....

I think this team has proven they're a good team.

They aren't a GREAT team yet. But they're a good team. They respond to losses fairly well, and they play hard.

Miller is outstanding.

If they can continue to improve their offensive play as the season goes on, I think we're going to be a very dangerous team.

Remember... these guys play best with a chip on their shoulder. If they get into the playoffs, I think they're going to be a VERY difficult club to beat in a best of 7.

We shall see.

For all us manic/depressives . . . Isn't this the best thread ever!!!

Someone play a practical joke on Miller. We need to keep him pissed off.

Ruff - The bestest coach ever is now speaking - while the guys pedal, pedal, pedal . . . ;)

You know, I don't care if we are 20th in goals scored, we are third in goals allowed and that is what will win you games.

I remember when we were first in goals scored, but almost 20th in goals allowed, and where did that get us?

Well I meant in Goals against a game we were in 3rd with something like a 2.21, but ti should be lower now.

Could be on his way to another Jack Adams.

(See Bettman? Contrary to popular belief, fans ARE in touch with traditional hockey names, and don't need the awards to be changed!)

They should name the Coach of the Year trophy to the Lindy Ruff Trophy then.

We have games in hand on a loooot of teams, too.

That stat is far more important than goals for.

If Miller keeps this up, to suggest anybody else for the Vezina, perhaps the Hart as well, would be a joke. He is spectacular.
