All I ask for is that if I'm watching Calgary / Vancouver on a Tuesday night, they talk about the players in that game, and the players in the next upcoming Versus game. I don't need to know that Crosby and the Pens are playing the Flyers in 6 weeks, or Calgary's backup goaltender played for the same Q team that Crosby did.

You never know when someone is going to ask you who were Crosby's teammates years ago when he played in Junior.

It could be the million dollar Jeopardy winner.

Is there a single credible hockey writer out there? I mean, it's a no-brainer. A tap in. A slam dunk. An intentional walk. An empty net. Miller was THE best goalie in the NHL last season. This isn't rocket science, there's no need to be subjective. It's simply a fact. Kind of like how when the sun is out, your surroundings are illuminated. It just is.

But no, there has to be a Scooby Doo Thelma writer for everything. Losing her glasses all the time, crawling around whining about it, still trying to look smart not having a clue as to what's going on in front of her face. The world REALLY needs a good hockey writer.

I literally quit another forum because Montreal fans (AKA THE FUCKING MODS) would go to the Sabres section and make our team seem like the last in the league. They would just constantly bash the Sabres saying Miller doesn't deserve the NO. 3 spot, and sayingMiller isn't as good as Lundqvuist and being the best on the team means nothing, so Plekanec should be in the top 50. It pisses me off. So I quit, and they needed me there (SHORTAGE OF MEMBERS IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT) and they fucked up. No wonder people hate that forum. The mods are asshole Montreal fans that think their team is almighty!

my list is a mix between results and raw talent. dipietro has oodles and oodles of raw talent. if he was healthy and played behind a good defense... woof. i feel for the guy. thats why fleury is so high. he has so much raw talent, more so then any other goalie in the NHL, hes the prototype for the goalie of the future.

I'm just shocked at how bad the writers are, it's not just the stupid polls and lists that permeate everything in society, and not just hockey. It's the obvious and annoying fact that hockey writers either suck at writing about hockey or they just don't care what their readers think.
