On a serious note, maybe Ted and Terry do plan on making inside moves. I know Tommy G. and Larry Q never would though.

It is going to go one of two ways. Terry will sit back with the team now and shitcan at least one person in his payroll or trade a myriad of players. If these players won't listen now they will when they realize their inept ability to give two squirts of piss about the product they are putting in the ice can lead to their dismissal. Shit, eat part of Staffords contract when you trade his ass.

Any team in any sport anywhere in the world would try and find a voice that would be heard in their respective locker rooms.

Are the coaches they replace bad coaches? No; most of them are very good coaches. And most of them will go and find another place where they will find success.

Coaches have a shelf life in any given situation. They vary from 3 - 4 years, to maybe 9 or 10 years.

The exception is here in Buffalo; where we seem to feel Lindy Ruff is exempt from the reality of professional sports. We make excuses for him constantly. Do I dislike him personally? No; but I resent his being here because it indicates we have weaknesses in ownership and management.

We need to stop trying to be the first team to ever find players to suit our coach. Simply an impossibility; especially in today's NHL.You can't have it both ways - a winning team AND the same stale coach.

Sorry; at the professional level, I place winning as a premium. No one is exempt. This isn't my kids local amateur team where it is more about socializing, and liking everyone over the winning.

The sooner reality sets in, the sooner we will have some real hope. No guarantee's; but hope. And hope is what keeps people going; both players and fans.
