Maybe that's why he doesn't fight for pucks along the boards. He's too busy admiring his smile in his reflection.

Well, I'm glad Messrs. Hecht and Tallinder have learned to fucking smile - They can do so (with renewed joy and confidence) while standing in the unemployment line.

So Kennedy/Gerbe, and Myers will be with us then.

Yeah, but it wasn't the prettiest of goals though. But I'm glad to see him put one in, even if the goalie got a piece of it.

He scored another one of his fluky goals that had no business going in. Grier and Goose were ripping it up on the third line, while Hecht looked like Hecht - even with two guys who are balls to the wall, 100% every night, he wouldn't step up.

It would really be a shame to send a hustler like Ellis, or a bruiser like Cowan, or a fighter like McCowan, or a jack-of-all trades like Paetsch down to the minors while a lazy, cowardly, useless stiff like Hecht gets to loaf about on the 3rd line as Goose and Grier do all the work.

I'd rather see Kennedy play wing with Grier and Goose. He'd add much-needed scoring spark to their line, but still bring a defensive awareness. Kennedy has looked like he's ready for the jump, but Hecht's contract is in the way. Motherfucker.

he scored goals last season as well, just not consistently and not when you needed it. and there was no zip in his game or any leadership qualities for a guy who is supposed to be a veteran. and his defensive game supposed to be his strength blew beyond belief last year, I think max played better than hecht last season yet hecht never got benched. only time will tell if he is one back to form, and two can put goals in consistently and not here and there. he will see a good deal of fourth line and hopefully a benching or two if he doesn't come back.

Lol, poor Jochen, he's the new Kotalik.

I've been to both home games this preseason, and have seen him do nothing but all the right things on the ice, minus one dumb turnover.

He's worked well along the boards, been smart with the puck, and gotten the puck on net. All things he did piss poorly last year. I'm not 100% up on the guy, I think that 3M for him is way too much, but if he puts in 20 and 25 I'm happy. Plus say what you want, the guy is solid defensively. He skates up and down the ice hard, and uses his stick well.

Crucify away, but I'll bet my first paycheck when I'm done with school that Hecht has a better year this year, than he did last year. I'm going to say atleast 45 pts, and 15-25 goals.

If you can't say something negative than don't say anything at all! This is the Fuck You Hecht thread dedicated to those of us who want him cut or traded. Same with the Fuck You Tallinder thread!

Start an I LOVE JOCHEN thread if you must, but we've seen nearly every minute of every game this preseason, and all of last season, and want him gone, gone, gone. He's a motherfucking pussy.

Man some people owe some apologies due to their comments in this thread. Props to Mike and Jay.

I'm glad etc is no longer around to verbally abuse people when they cordially disagree with him.

Idk what Hecht did/drank but he turned his game around 180 degrees.. It's like he's an all new player with a totally different motivation.. Im loving it!!
