Some of us have known this team really wasn't that good, and Ryan Miller knew it too. Oh, we're just in a slump. When the PP clicks, we'll win the cup. Darcy knows what he's doing. Lindy is the greatest coach ever. Blah, blah, blah. This goalie is our FRANCHISE player. This organization has been slowly pissing him off more and more as time goes on. If this coach and GM don't start listening to him, and addressing the issues, this will only get worse. You can say this won't end in him wanting to leave, but I wouldn't be so sure. If we DO ever let Miller go, then this franchise is officially the Bills part 2.

Hell, if Miller can rant, then a fan sure can.

/rant over.

and this I still believe is the main issue! I think Larry handcuffs Darcy and what he is allowed to do... can't stand Quinn

Welcome! And you won't find many people here who disagree with you on your opinion of Larry :)

Lol -- you're being sarcastic, right?

I seem to recall a previous Sabres goalie [Hasek], wasn't too concerned about his "boundaries" as a player, when he not only DEMANDED a trade to a contender, he actually dictated the terms of that trade . . .

It's like 53 seconds in.

Hasek may have been a better goaltender, but Miller is 10 times the teammate that Hasek ever was.

Miller shouldn't have to demand anything. If Darcy would be an intelligent GM he fucking has to know that you can't piss of one of your 2 "true" superstars by standing pat again. It really pisses me off like hell seems like Miller is the only one who cares! Where is our captain, where are all the A's (Roy I'm asking you!?) just rediculous effort on and off the ice right now.

If this roster can't get in done bring in some new meat. I don't like Burke at all but obviously he HAS the balls to make some big things happen!

Mark my words Miller won't be here long if we miss the playoffs again and for the sake of god you can't blame him for that! He is dedicated to win!

Now fucking Miller has to do this shit? How about the fucking coach Lindy Ruff? He is the one who should be laying the belt down!

Who would have known this team wasn't all that? I mean the standings said they were! :)

That fact may be further illustrated by the poor play of Theibault, Conklin, and now Lalime; or is it only apparent poor play? Bit of both, actually - tells how good Miller is.

I'm not a fan of leadership via the media. If Miller has something to say, he needs to say it in the locker room.

Besides, it isn't as if he has been playing his A-game for the last five weeks either.

It's one thing to say it to their faces, and another to say it to the entire world. Both are embarrassing, but for the media approach, everyone gets to hear it. It can be more effective.

He did it to scratch his nose anyways.

I highly doubt it was because of the question, watch him while he does it.

I don't know, the second they asked him, he immediately does it. Could be subconscious or a coincidence, but either way the timing is funny.

Perfect timing, but I'm going with a scratch of the nose.

Looks like a rub or a pinch... not a scratch. He's not using his nails.

Definitely a face palm.
