I 100% foresee Tyler Myers not regressing from his rookie season, so any point estimates between 48 and 55 points sounds right to me.

Hey man...I'm the one who always defends Myers whenever someone mentions a slump. He gets out of tight situations with ease. He chooses to make a short 2 foot pass to get the puck out of trouble rather than dumping it around the boards. I'm just saying though, if he gets 8 goals, that's still really fucking good....the kid can't even legally drink yet! I expect 45-55 points out of him. Does anyone think he'll have a few PPG seasons?

I'm just too optimistic about our team and Vanek staying healthy, Connolly burning defenders for sick passes, Pominville finally getting 30 goals again, and Roy just being his steady self.

he had almost 50 in his rookie season. I think it's definately very possible. The only thing is that I think he will become more defensive and physical soon which might keep his from rushing a lot. He'll have to rely on his shot more, which will also be good but not get him a PPG season.

I'd have to agree. If all he's got is Roy/Connolly/Ennis and Pommers/Staff, 35 would be a good total. He's talented, but I'm not convinced the people around him can keep up.

Um he got 40 with the same cast of players around him before, and had 36 on the year he got injured by the end of the season.

I don't see how Vanek doesn't get 40+ goals unless he does what he did this year.
