Stafford is starting the last year in his contract. He will play like a mad man to show is "net worth" to the sabres or any other team for that matter.

I think he is for real this year. Usually, you can speculate saying that so and so so him in the gym and they were working hard...but I like how he came out and said it...and said he had an epiphany..whatever. I think he means it though.

Well Stafford is really at that age where he should explode, he is only 24 or something so he is hitting his prime to just explode.

Damn! 24 is so young. It seems like we've been stuck with him so long that he has to be like 27 haha. This is going into his 4th year too so he was really young when we brought him up. Maybe we should have left him in Rochester/Portland?? ....

Well he'll be 25 on October 30th. But Stafford really isn't an old guy at all.

Vanek is only 26.
