Is there a video of Weber doing whatever he did to Crosby. I have no idea what happened and I want to see it. :(

I posted it in here.

Slesh- I love your reviews man, but you're slacking here!

I'll try to grab the reins and get this thread going since I'm anxious to hear what others think about this game.

I know there are a couple people here who might hate me for saying this, but IMO Miller blew this game for us. Yeah, a couple bad bounces with those goals off of skates, but I'm thinking he should have had at least one of those. The fourth goal that got "pushed" in should have never happened. I love Miller, but he was off tonight.

I was very impressed with the team's overall play. In fact, I'm really starting to like this season. All I have ever asked or really wanted of this team is for them to put out for 60 minutes EVERY night. And I think they've accomplished that lately; tonight was no different. The games have been very exciting to watch and even when we lose, I'm still pretty happy because of the way we played. Let's hope we can keep up the same intensity for the rest of the season.

Last thing I'd like to comment on- Webers "play" with Crosby. I'm liking Weber more and more every game. I'm a big fan of the physicality that he brings. It took a lot of guts to let Crosby have it like he did but it was warranted and he didn't let him off easy. It's good to see the Sabres not being such a pansy team this year.

... liking this third jersey more and more too :D

Sorry man, but its hunting season, and this late into gun season if its brown its down baby.
But ya, as soon as black powder week is over (next weekend) I'll be back at it.
I didn't catch the game until it was 2 to 1 but I only saw bits and pieces.... (was busy cutting up bambies baby brother :))

Weber about the Cindy play...

Quote:
“It goes back to Cooke going after Pominville. Pominville’s one of our top-end guys here and they weren’t shy to get in his face, so why should we be shy to get in Crosby’s face?” Weber said. “He’s a competitor and he’s playing on the ice, he’s got the same pads on as we do, and he’s one of the best players in the game so I think that’s more of an emphasis why guys need to be in his face.

I love the fact that he's pretty much saying regardless of what number you wear or whose name is on the back of a sweater, you're going to be played the same as anyone else, if not harder. Fuck this whole "Untouchable" mind set.

That's gotta be one of my new favorite quotes.
