Not bad if he works out. If he gets near 30 or 40 goals again I would call this trade a super win. If not, we just get connolly, but for 1 mill less a year. :D

and plus 15 points ;)

More like Grier (maybe), Pominville(I hope) or Hecht (meh).

I love this trade a lot. They never had to give up any prospects like Gerbe or Adam up for him which is great.

I believe he is useful at RW and Center, kind of like a fluctuating player. He's more of a center, but he can play RW. Smart trade.

Not an earth shattering move, but a move that has me excited none the less.

Can't wait to see what else happens between tonight and tomorrow afternoon.

OK, NHL lists him at center, Yahoo at RW. I have people telling me STL's center depth forced the move to RW.

He's having a good season, 12 goals 29 assists and a +11, wonder if he will click with anyone here? Maybe we'll see Vanek and Boyes on the same line???

Yeah what Phil said. I think STL put him as a RW only. Damn, STL is getting rid of A LOT of players.

Vanek-Boyes-Pommers

This could be good...

I assume he'll keep #22. So long, Adam Mair...

I do remember someone on here saying that All Centers can move to wing fairly easy, but not all wings can move to Center with out some issues... so it will be very interesting to see him back at his "natural" position and see what he might be able to put up... Jay says he is as good as the players around him, well TV and Staff are two of the hottest as of late, cooling down a little currently, but none the less, stick B-Sq between TV and Staff.... and lets see what he's got!!!

15 points in his last 15 games, so he's coming in hot...
