Since I wasn't there, I'm just going off my observation from versus.

It seemed like the crowd was absolutely raucous for most of the first period, and as the team faded, so did the crowd. I mean, beyond Gerbe's goal in the second, what the hell did they have to cheer for?

I think the Sabres are fortunate not to have been mercilessly boo'd.



I agree with that, based solely upon what I saw on tv

Real disappointing game... I expected a lot more from the Sabres in this one, but the series is far from over. Sabres are losing composure and taking dumb penalties. Not outworking Philly... They are better than that.

If nothing else, at least the crowd matched the team: Tepid and un-inspired...

So, I'm at a real low optimism wise... does anyone truthfully believe we still have a good chance to fight back in this series? If so, why?

(I'm not challenging anyone's opinion, I just want to know what pieces of truth I can cling to in order to generate some optimism/excitement...)

Worse teams have come back form worse holes. Philly hasn't played great yet this series. There's an opening, but they have to take it.

As pissed as I am at this game, last time I checked it takes 4 games to win a series. We're only down by one. If they can stop buying into every BS call the Flyers are trying to sell and focus on just digging in deep, we're winning game 4.

We're still in this series, folks. I Haven't gave up hope yet.

it's do or die in Game 4. Can they win? Absolutely. But they need to get rid of the "veteran" loose canon Monty Python and play with some sense of precaution when moving the puck up ice. Icing the puck would LITERALLY be smarter than some of those Game 3 decissions.
