He kind of scored! *sigh*

I am fairly certain that Boyes will not be the teams answer as the 2nd line center next season. So, you got Pomminville, Stafford, and Boyes on the RW, and Hecht, Vanek and Ennis on the LW. Maybe one of the RW can move to LW next season, and Ennis or Hecht can be the 2nd line center?

Richards is the only good free agent I want and I don't think he comes to Buffalo. He's already said New York Rangers. But I guess money can change players mind real quickly so we will see.

I would like to see Hecht gone kinda sick of his piss poor choices of shot selection. I think it's time to move on without him.

before he got hurt he was on a 6 game point streak as a center, and playing extremely well defensively.

I'm just not a big fan of the german. It's time to move on from his less than stellar play.

I can't blame him for having a poor shot selection; his shooting percentage seems to go up as he gets into worse and worse scoring area.

He's a proven 15-20 goal scorer with a defensive upside. Kind of need him.

(Regarding Hecht)

Yeah, I'll reserve judgment until I see a full season out of him in a Sabres uniform.

He was very good at times though..

I really feel that even though Boyes kind of disappeared on the scoresheet, he was doing all the right things, and I'm definitely happy having him in the Blue and Gold.

I agree. I think he was just going through a bad stretch at a bad time. He looked lost and a bit lazy in the first few playoffs games, but in the last 3 he was doing great.(with Niedermayer I think?)

He was never intended to be. He's a winger.
