I think what helped the powerplay finish higher up were some hot streaks during the year. But it seems like it went ice cold at time too. What I wonder was who was responsible for what? Did the players lack of execution cause the cold streaks, or was that McCutcheon's plays. And then you could ask the same question regarding hot streaks: Was it the players stepping up and being creative or was it McCutcheon? Either way it'll be nice to get a new look on the PP. And, being that Adams was in charge of player development (I would say he did a good job with that) I would love to see him in that role.
