Yeah, that one-touch pass to a giveaway was a great play. /sarcasm ;)

My signature says it all.

Please, lest we not forget what would have been the game winning goal. The pinpoint cross ice pass right on his tape, whilst the puck laying flat on the ice. Sure enough, drops an elephant size amount of hershey squirts in his pants. Also, the net was 75% open at this point in time. A simple redirection would have sufficed.

The issue with Leino is that he needs to find a good chemistry with two linemates and then he needs to stay with them. Thats what happened with him in philly. He would bounce around until he started playing with Briere and Hartnell I believe and then became a point producing machine. He just needs to find chemistry. That being said, he needs to hurry the hell up.

Winner winner chicken dinner.

Half of Leino's game seems to come off no look passes, throwing the puck across the ice on the rush, drop passes near the line, etc. If he doesn't have chemistry with his line mates or at least know some of their tendencies, then he's gonna wind up looking really stupid on half these plays. I'm fairly positive part of the reason why Leino struggled mightily in the first half of the season was because Ruff bounced him onto a new line at least every three games, then around the half way point where he was really starting to click with Adam and Kassian, he got injured. The more Leino gets to know the individual tendencies of the players on this team, the better he is going to do.

Bingo. Leino's vision and playmaking ability can become one of the best in the NHL. Oft times guys on our team arent expecting the types of passes that Leino is able to give out on the regular. No look backhander pass on the tap of a guy coming across the middle, this on more then one occasion. Guy will be studly in time....just wait. Pair him up with Ennis and another winger. I just want him with Ennis.

I'm still sore that Lindy broke up the Ennis-Leino-Stafford line in the beginning of the year. If Stafford ever decided to throw his weight around and actually drive hard to the net, then that line would have done some serious damage.
