Welp, the 7 point lead is maintained. And Toronto still sucks (even though they won).

bruins beat the rags. it appears as though the window for the sabres to fall out of the top 8 is almost sealed shut.

2 points behind S***sburgh for 2nd in the conference. Can we do it?

Based on how we've been doing lately then I don't think it's too hard to pull off, it all depends on how much we rest Miller.

Red Wings beat Pens, leaving Pittsburgh at 90 points. Ottawa shutout the Habs, leaving the Habs at 79 but moving the Sens up to 81.

I want both Philly and Montreal to limp into the playoffs cuz there's a solid chance they'll finish 6th and 7th and I would love to see the Sabres start the playoffs against either of them.

I would to but I would love to see all them out. The Sabres need a little test in round one just to get going. Last time they had no test in the playoffs was the Islanders in 07 and they played like shit in that series.

The differences between the Sabres of 06/07 and the Sabres of 09/10 are vast...I don't think playing a softer team in Round 1 will hurt the team too much.

Ottawa winning that game was good for us since Montreal technically had the jump on them with a game in hand.

Bruins lead Thrashers 1-0 after one period. This is a huge game for Les Thrash because they can move back into the top 8 if they win.
