I would consider it a good road trip if the Sabres earn...
5 of possible 14 points 0%  0%  [ 0 ]
6 of possible 14 points 3%  3%  [ 2 ]
7 of possible 14 points 5%  5%  [ 3 ]
8 of possible 14 points 7%  7%  [ 4 ]
9 of possible 14 points 29%  29%  [ 17 ]
10 of possible 14 points 37%  37%  [ 22 ]
11 of possible 14 points 3%  3%  [ 2 ]
12 of possible 14 points 3%  3%  [ 2 ]
It ain't a success unless they win every game 12%  12%  [ 7 ]

I say they drop all 3 California games.
Whenever I can actually get to see them play, they give me a nice kick in the nuts.

I still have a bad taste in my mouth from the 8-2 beating the kings gave them 2 years ago...in Jonathan Quick's NHL debut no less.

Nope. Since he re-upped his contract, the west coast swing is his mid-season vacation.

Hey if it keeps him happy then fine. Wouldn't be a bad time to give little Jeanneret a tryout.

RJ has skipped the west coast trip the past couple years.

I thought so.

And MJ and younger RJ really don't sound much different.

Oh, man. The fill in guys are usually horrible.

Maybe they'll just give us the opposing team's feeds.

Yotes and Kings leave me with a queasy feeling. I'll go with 9 of 14. Maybe I'll take a closer look at the overall standings tomorrow and which of our opponents have back to back games (us being the second).

His voice is REALLY high. He kinda sounds like RJ, though....

He's not terrible, his voice is just high pitched.

RJ's voice was much higher pitched in his early days. In my imagination it deepened from all the scotch.

I agree, no Sylvester. I can't stand him and Robi s horrible during the games. Robi's not so bad listening to him when he talks on WGR, but i's painful watching those 2 between periods. I kind of miss having Ray for the road games too.

I just hope the team has a food tester now. Seven games in twelve days would be a very bad combination with a second bout of food poisoning.

I picked 7 out of 14 points because I figure if you win half your road games and take care of business at home then you will be sittin' pretty.

Also, if the Sabres do come home after a mediocre road trip I won't be too disappointed, because it was about what I expected. However, if they do better than that then I will be very pleased. Sort of the way the stock market goes up or down on the expectations of performance rather than the actual performance.

It is all about keeping the right frame of mind for me.

Lindy says he expects 9-10 points from this trip. That puts him in agreement with most folks on the Sabresfanatic board.

One game down, two points up.
