It's shocking to me that Pommers has 43 points this year. How in the name of heaven does Jason Pominville have 40 points?

He can't control what his teammates do with the puck after he fires it wide. Sometimes they put it in the back of the net.

Definitely. They all hear about it.

Buffalo is a very high pressure city to play in.

We fucking boo our team when they make mistakes. Think that makes them grip their sticks a little tighter?

Not a big fan of booing. Unless they really deserve it. It reminds me too much of Montreal fans.

i love how we hate pominville every year and he consistently plays every game and puts up close to team leading numbers every year. We take a some instances where he should have scored, every player in the nhl has those instances of not hitting the empty net. Hell i say he nets 2 tomorrow against the rags. don't be so quick to want to throw away one of the best players we have

I made all these points about Pominville months ago, and they fell on deaf ears.

It's useless. I think if anyone has the potential to get their game going, it's Pominville. He's a very well rounded player.

I think all everyone is asking from Pomminville is to go to the shooting practices, 5x a day please.

I think Pominville is a very well rounded player. It justs seems to me people get pissed because he's making big money and is not putting up big numbers. The guy plays a decent two way game. But he needs to get some stronger sticks and hit the net. At least he isn't a Jonathan Cheechoo.

Pominville is extremely solid. Any team in the league would be lucky to have him. He puts up 70 points a year, and he plays defense. Problem is, he gets paid about 1.5 mil too much.

Plus, we all know that he's not the same player he used to be. What happened to the Pommers of two years ago?

He's not playing against 3rd and 4th line talent anymore, he playing teams top checking line, or their second scoring line. It's definitely going to have an impact on his numbers.

pominville is a fine player, but not to A. build around, and B. throw over 5 million a year to. hes a complimentary player. same with roy. buffalo has too many second/third liners and it shows at times. in terms of would i rather have pominville or dumont, dumont all the way. but, i just wish poms came with a cheaper price tag, and as a second liner.

pominville seems to be a pretty heady defensive forward, and is willing to do the little things in that zone to win. but once he shifts to offense, its a clusterfuck of shitty passes, bad shooting, or broken sticks. and by the way, someone get pominville a batch of fucking wooden sticks already. i bet his broken stick totals would drop drastically, and his offensive numbers would perk up slightly.

He's not as fast as he used to be. His signature play against Ottawa wouldn't happen now because he doesn't have the speed to do it, for some weird reason. Same with Vanek.

that play wont happen because he beat alfredsson. i mean, hes a forward. thats the only reason that happened. also, emery didnt poke check.

Yea the only reason was because it was against Alfredsson, and Emery just sucked that year too.

If a defender had been out there it would have not ended like that. Ottawa put 4 forwards on the ice to try and win it then.
