Does CBC do HD over the air? I should be able to get it in here, I'd rather watch that than NBC.

I have no idea but CBC has a great HD setup for us Canadians.

I'll have to find my antenna and check. I know I couldn't get CBC at my apartment, buy I should here at the house.

when the playoffs come there should be 2 broadcasts for each game....the local broadcasters for the local crowd....and versus, NBC, etc. for the rest of the country

Gonna miss the Monday and Wednesday games, but I'll be back for the Friday night game. Glad I'll be gone for the two games in that hell hole.

Squanto, did you have any luck with CBC in HD?

I used to get it at my house in Lancaster...HNIC in HD was really nice. Took down the antenna last year and haven't gotten around to putting it back up yet.

You need a decent antenna/preamp to get it. I was running a CM4228 and CM7777 and would get it 90% of the time. Antenna was mounted 6 feet above the top of a 12 foot shed with minimal obstructions for a few hundred feet in every direction.

I haven't had the time to try yet, but I'm pretty confident. I live closer to some of the CBC transmitters in southern Ontario than some areas on Canada, so once I get the time I'm sure it will work.
