I'm going to guess we wouldn't get a very favorable deal on Stastny at this time. Sure, his value is low, but they aren't really sellers right now. They have no reason not to ride out the cold streak(as does Buffalo).

Sarcasm is normally, or should be italicized.

I'm not sure what our obsession with Kassian is anymore. He looked good at first, but now I think he's shown that he could use more time down in the minors. I like McNabb. I think he's progressed far beyond what anyone expected, inside or outside the organization.

.

Kassian and Adam's main linemate is out. Once Leino comes back that line will be pretty good once again.

McCormick, Ellis, and Kaleta would have to sit, but if the team is ever at full strength and there is enough cap room from injuries to keep everyone on the roster...what do you think of those forward lines? I would possibly rotate the 3 bottom RWs depending on their play. That would be nice to have going into April, but then again some forwards could be dealt for a top C (doubtful) or to stock up on draft picks. Then take those picks and package them with Sekera/Gragnani to move up in the draft for a top 5 pick, and get a top C that way.

No way in hell I'd pay Stafford $3+ million a year to be on the fourth line...

As the OP for this said. You can rotate the bottom 3 RW's at will. Personally, right now, Stafford does not deserve anything higher then a 4th line position.

That is the problem, he's overpaid because of his "breakout" last year. How coincidental that it was his contract year too  Oh and his puck hog linemate was out....

I remember Vanek having a similar problem as well.
