It's a phrase that basically means, if you wanna see the Sabres at the top, turn the rankings.

Because he has the most honest, jubilant, exciting goal celebration in the entire league :)

Pattymouth and his goal celebrations are awesome! He is the leader of the Blue Collared Brigade!

I'm not a huge fan of that celebration, simply because it's close to Briere's little thing.

That being said, I do like that it's over the top and obnoxious, which has to infuriate the Sabres' opponents. :)

I wonder when he came up with it. He didn't do it for his first NHL goal which came in the Zednik game. He just slammed himself into the boards in that corner.

Briere doesn't do the hand spin. I love Patty's celebration. It's the best. :D

No, but I always liked that arm swing move

I'm a fan of just jumping into the boards myself. I don't score often though, so I don't put a lot of thought into these things. :)

My scoring celebration is pretty unique.
Step 1 - Fail to realize you actually scored - do nothing
Step 2 - Fail to believe you actually scored - do nothing
Step 3 - Belatedly raise arms while teammates celebrate around you a la Andrew Peters
Step 4 - Laugh at the goalie for letting you score

That's kind of how it goes with 4g, 19a in a 17 game season plus playoffs.

This is exactly the post I make towards my own bench every time I score. Never gets old:

It was inline though which tends to be a bit more high scoring. I think I was like 19th/53 in the league in pts, and 9th in assists. For my first year ever playing any hockey, I'm considering it a success.

At least one of my goals was truly awful. We're talking wrister from the blue line that I half whiffed on that two hopped and went five-hole. Goalie was screened and never saw it haha.

I recall one goal I scored in a floor hockey game that was similar. I was dead tired, got the ball in my own end and just threw it down the floor to get a change. As I went to sit on the bench one of my teammates goes, "Uh dude, you scored." And I look at the goalie and the other end and he just shrugged and goes, "I wasn't paying attention." But on the topic of celebrations, I typically go to the arms in the air or I use the Kaleta once in awhile if I remember.
