This change was Rutherford's idea.
I also think it's unfair to compare the Luongo situation. One, he is a goalie(which made it a retarded idea to begin with), and two, he was never in question of being washed-up. That resignation was only to rectify what was a bad idea from the start.
Can any of the 5 or 6 hockey geniuses who think 'resigning happens all the time' give me a legitimate example? You sure were quick to shoot me down, but real slow to tell me why.
