If he gets sent down to Kelowna, at least I'll get to see him play when the Rockets come to Portland. It's a win-win situation really.

I can't see him going back down though. It's getting hard not to gush over this guy.

Well done Tyler.

You've earned your spot on the team if you ask me.

I've been on the bandwagon since his WHL playoffs.

Me and Phil were some of the few that were in the Myer's threads then. I never watched him, but hearing about it the next day and such really made me love the guy, especially during the WJC's and watching them and how well he played.

I jumped right on the Bandwagon.

Myers got first star tonight if people wondered.

Hedstrom is 18. But yeah; he looks slower than Myers, doesn't he?

definitely....myers seems to skate so gracefully with speed and moves....he also has great stick handling....passes are great, usually right on the tape....he's only going to get better....wait till he puts some weight on, and gets a mean streak....he's defnitely looking like norris trophy material at some point in the not too distant future....

so yes, he does seem to be quite a bit ahead of hedman

Manning the machine gun on the Tyler Myers Bandwagon - just in case any teams have an idea of prying him away from us (3 GM's shot already)

I would like him to marry my daughter. Although my daughter would rather marry Pomms.

Does anyone else think he looks like he could be Tallinder's son? Or little brother? Funny.

Seriously, this kid is the real deal. I think he's great!

...not to be a big jerk, but...

*sigh*

My boy is growing up. And it's so good to watch; firsthand.

It was just us and Ice in the early days, but Ice definitely has us beat, as evidenced in his link to an old ass thread on the WSOD. Damn. Way to be a fucking prophet, son.

I was buying the webcasts of Kelowna games to watch him, and when he was in the Dub, he was a fucking NIGHTMARE for the opposition. He was a big hitter then - he absolutely lit. up. Evander Kane during the Chynoweth Cup playoffs. Lined him up at the blue line and knocked him into the next week. He'll grow into his NHL body and start hitting when he feels comfortable, but right how he's running on smarts and skill - something you can't learn. He'll be beastly.

Thanks Phil for the recognition  . I was only posting about his progression throughout the season. It was mainly you Ice Skyline and Myself talking in those old Myers threads.

Aw, dude, I'm sorry, man. It was us back in the days. In fact, before he got hot, you were the news-source for everything Myers. Being that you're a Kelownian (is that the right word?) helped A TON!

When you gonna come to Buffalo and enjoy seeing Myers in front of the home crowd?

sabresEH! Dude! You were the man on the scene. The pipeline. The inside source.

The Kelowna Konnektion. :D

...especially when we were so starved for firsthand info about Myers' progress.

Yes a Kelownian is what I am. Just tried to give the info I could.
Well if Myers stays with the team then I will see him Jan. 25th in Vancouver. But I definitely wanna make a trip out to Buffalo and see a game in HSBC. That would just be UNREAL. Perhaps later this season or next. Either way when I do I'll be letting everyone know so I know where to go for pre-game brews lol.

Harry Neil said it all. Myers eliminated the chance of getting sent back down. He is up for the season, and he is doing awesome, good for him.

If he didn't have such a huge bank account; I'd call Jake Delhomme a big fucking loser.

We may be the worst 3 - 4 team in the league; but we could be at .500 in two weeks!!!

Wow; NO came back, and are on top of The Fins 38 - 34!

Anyhow, Heatley just put up the first Sharks goal, as they take a 1 - 0 lead over The Flyers. Thornton with his league leading 13'th assist.

Time to watch a real sport......

Howie, why are you posting this in the I Love Myers thread?
