I love Mair....but I know deep down he's just not the right guy for me.

Just fuckin with ya, Pat ;)

But I do agree with both of you about McCormick hopefully playing more this season. He's much more of a hockey player than Adam Mair is.

fag.

Sorry I'm on a roll with my name calling. Yeah, I'm kinda still wanting to see his "beast" side that everyone claimed was impressive. Mair has his moments where he is energetic, fun to watch and productive....then he ships back to WHERE THE FUCK DID HE GO? Island

McCormick will have to get ice time with a one-way contract. It was only because of Mair and a pretty healthy season overall that McCormick didn't get QPT.

Now he's going to be a monster...for us...at only 500k!!!

Off topic - Leopold used to wear #44 and #4, should he push Sekera down and take #44, bribe Montador for #4, or take a new number?

With Mair gone, Ennis can wear 22 again, so I dunno what Leopold would wear.

You're in luck - Myers said he's going to keep 57 because he feels he made it his own.

I kind of do, too, for the same reason Mike listed. But, I also like the number 22. If Ennis kept 63 and made a huge impact, it'd be really cool cuz when another Sabre gets 63 in the future, we'll all get nostalgic about that crazy talented Tyler Ennis :D

lombardi to nashville. 3 years, $3.5 million per year.

looks like if we want another center we might need to trade for one the pickings are slim now.

We need a RW that can score more than a center.

Has anyone heard anything about him? I would really love him on the team as well.

It seems all is quiet on the Guerin front. I hope he doesn't retire - he's a badass.

Another reason he should be on this team. His scoring touch of course being the primary reason.

And being in the top 12 last season for fighting majors. That'd be a beauty reason to have him, too.

The Fourth Period is showing the Sabres in on Stemps, Theodore, Morrison, and Mitchell.

i hope he does retire, unless he comes back in a sabres uniform. him being on another team, especially in the east, just hurts the sabres. even if it was with the panthers.

I've been hearing that the Sabres may or may not have ( ;) ) called Vancouver about one Mr. Kevin Bieksa.
