He might go for $3.5M over two years or maybe even $3M over three season, but I'm more comfortable with him just getting that one-year deal worth $4M.

I would just worry that if he signs a one year deal he tears it up and then bolts. Unless it brings us a cup....then fuck yeah Im all for it. Either way it would be hella fun watchin him fly around the ice in blue and gold next season.

I don't care how he does next season because I want him to ditch after that. He's an inconsistent player and inconsistent players only do really well in contract years. Next year's free agent class should be much improved and Zack Kassian oughta be ready to step in on the top line.

Anytime someone makes a weird anatomical reference in regards to humans for some reason I always think vestigial tail, lol. Pretty sure it was due to an old X-Files episode that incorporated one and I remember thinkin how unbelievably odd it was.......

Well, last season he put up 42pts in 37gp for the MSU Spartans. His two previous seasons were middling (with that whole super-shitty incident hanging on his shoulders), but his final season in Sioux Falls saw him produce 62pts in 54gp.
