My opinion will change when he scores more. Hot streaks are nice but I'm waiting to see if he can keep it up.

i dunno. hes certainly not the little shit he was back in highschool. so thats good.

hes producing right now, something he didnt do for half a season. if he keeps it up, he may have a shot. still dont think he has the talent to be a top 6 player. im pretty sure of it, but who knows.

Well, John Vogl implies that he's a little more lively than quite a few of the other bums we have on this team. But what does he know? He only spends a little bit of time around the locker room.

We've needed some character and edge on this team for awhile. That's one of the other things that Gerbe obviously brings to the table.

He's definitely still a little shit in certain ways. But that bodes well for the Sabres. He was a little shit when he roped Gomez into that penalty. He was a little shit when he was tussling with Chara.

Hopefully he keeps that up.

If he's effective who cares how tall he is or where he was drafted. Do u think the team that drafted Dan Cleary 6th overall wanted him to become a third line checker? Sometimes players have to change the way they play to stick with the club.

It started with me just pointing out another part of Gerbe's game that I like, and turned into another person here blowing it up like I think it's the only thing he needs to stay in Buffalo.

That side of Gerbe is a huge bonus to a solid skill set.
