Looks like it could be awhile. John Vogl of the Buffalo News reports... Quote: Right wing Mike Grier is not expected back. He skipped practice because of his groin injury.
"Not as good as we hoped," Ruff said of Grier. "Obviously, we had to keep him off again. He's at that same point where Toni [Lydman] was at where it just doesn't quite want to come around." |

Well, hopefully Lydman returns soon also. Could use both of them, especially last night. |

Lydman is healthy...Ruff just decided not to insert him into the lineup. |

QFT...even Loods tossing hand grenades in the corners isn't as bad as Sekera getting LIT UP every time he tries to skate up the ice along the boards. |

I'd feel better of neither of those players were on the Sabres. They should release both of them and call up Weber so the defense can be tougher. |

Please don't get me started on Shakira; this years role model of how not to show any intensity or competitiveness..... |

Please give me an explanation because he is the least of our worries on defense for the past 5 years. Led team in blocked shots last year, and I think hits? |

Most games I watch he makes very poor descisions with the puck |
