5 already?! That seems like quite a few for him this early in the season. Last year he had 12. I think he has found a goal scoring touch this year.. Just a thought. Hopefully he can reach that for the first time in his career. I wonder when the last time Buffalo had a grinder that scored 20 goals...

Yeah. He's pretty clutch for a 4th liner.

I doubt it. Being on the PP helps him, but I don't see him getting 20. 15-18, yes.

I wonder what Roy is on pace for? He has been friggin pathetic so far for being a "1st line center".

Ha funny thing that you think Roy's been bad. Pomnville is bringing his linemates down. He is a 3rd line player with the way hes playing right now. Im so happy he is signed for over 5 million per.

I just commented last night that Goose is on pace for 20 goals. I think he can reach it, but I'd be hard pressed to say he'll hit 25.

He has sucked quite a bit since he signed the contract but if a guy like Dustin Penner can rise from the dead, I believe Pominville can bounce back.

Goose, I'll go out on a limb to say, has been one of our best players. Where others have died off in the motivation dept. goose has stepped up and has done what he could in every game which I've watched this season. Might not light the lamp like Ovie, but what he brings to the ice means so much. If more guys played like him on our team and played their holes off, we'd win more foot races to pucks, more battles in the corners = more wins.

Indeed; Goose is, along with Miller and Myers, the players who have been even better than anticipated. It's tough to say that about anyone else on this tea. Hell, outside of Kaleta, Grier, Montador, and maybe Tallinder, not many have even played up to the level expected of them.

There is of course, still time for some players to pick up the pace.....

I dunno about Montador, I didn't like what I saw of him against Boston. I think he's definitely in the lower eschelon of NHL players in terms of speed and skill.

No question; I just don't remember saying he was good. I thought I said he performed at the level I expected....... Maybe I should have said at the level.
