What I liked:

1. Kaleta could be our MVP so far. What a phenomenal game he had, scoring a goal, hitting everything in sight and drawing two penalties.

2. Sekera: I know he didn't get a lot of ice time, but he looked outstanding at the wing. He showed speed, aggressiveness, hitting, smarts...I like what I saw.

3. Vanek: Another solid game. Something kicked in I think, because he is back to showing us the speed, goal scoring and energy that was lacking the past few weeks. Even showed some nice penalty killing.

4. Myers: He is so fluid, strong and smart...I just say wow every time I see him play.

5. Lydman: Playing better and more physical than he has in years. Really looking solid.

What I didn't like:

1. Rivet: Again he was beaten regularly by the oncoming rush, and lost almost every battle for the puck in his own end. No physical presence at all, and I am really starting to wonder if it's more than a slump.

2. Tallinder: For the first time this season, the passive, weak, sloppy Tallinder of the last couple years reared his ugly head. I seriously hope it was just a one time relapse, but I fear we're about to see the slide.

3. Connolly: He has really lost his spunk and scoring touch, and may be suffering from "contractitis". Way too many turnovers on the power play, and he seems determined to play the soft, fancy game of '06-'07.

4. Lalime: Sorry, but even though many of the goals were not his fault, the numbers don't lie. He's a terrible liability, and we desperately need to bring in a top backup like Marty who will be able to deliver wins and solid numbers.

Finally, we may never, ever, ever beat the Fucking Sens. It's just the fucking reality we are cursed with, so might as well just chalk up another "ofer six" and pray we can win enough of the other games to make the playoffs..

ETC I second you view on Lalime, his record over the past two years is 5-15

It is weird to see Lalime play so terrible. When he wasn't a Sabre he had the skills of a starting goaltender. Now he he would be an average goalie in the AHL. Lalime once had 4 strait shutouts in the playoffs
