its never too early. in tonights games, pointwise, toronto would help the sabres with a win. tampa bay will keep a team below the sabres, but could climb down for another game. the rangers are currently in 9th, tied for points with the isles, but 2 games in hand. 1 game in hand after tonight. carolina did not help the sabres, and a win by the thrashers leaves the thrashers one point behind the sabres at the 7 seed. create a gap between those teams and the sabres. updated daily with more scenarios and games. |

fair enough. i was going to make this thread a few weeks ago actually. but well see how she goes. leafs beat the panthers. panthers stay at 24 points. 4 points behind buffalo. toronto stays a healthy 9 points back. |

OH MY GOD Watching and wringing hands over tight rankings in the final couple weeks is exhausting enough. NOW you're going to do it in NOVEMBER??? No offense (speaking of Sabres 'til Philly), but debating or obsessing over rankings 1/4 of the way through is a waste of energy. |

at the end of the first, the isles are up by 1 over the devils... anyone else find themselves hoping the isles make some noise, as long as its not the expense of the sabres? as for the ottawa/boston game... as long as she doest go to overtime. points wise, it would be best if boston won, as the sabres still have several games in hand over the bruins. |
