If anything affects the money of the NHL, aka a player that is marketable, they won't touch it.

they dont mind suspending these types of players, kaleta, avery, but would never suspend stars, ovie, malkin, crosby, all who have deserved a suspension at one point in time and have not gotten anything, because those players are money

I wouldn't have had a problem if this was the standard ACROSS THE BOARD, but it's not. How does the Great Ovechkin gets the exact same penalties and nothing happen to him. This is the fucking problem with this league. I feel bad for him, there was absolutely no intent unlike the hit that asshole Ovechkin did to Pat.

im not going to blame this on ovechkin at all, its not like he asked not to get penalized, the nhl just decided it to be that way, like i said earlier, i dont think either should have been suspended, neither showed intent, they just both love to hit

I'm not blame Ovie either. I am squarely putting the blame on the assholes who run the league. If I was Ovie, I would see this as a free pass to do just about anything I want without any major repercussions. I would board people all day long because nothing is going to happen.
