1) Were there a lot of BUF fans there?
-How many, what % would you say?

2) Was this the normal amount BUF brings?
-If not, what is, was this more or less than normal?

3) How did this compare to when NYR is at BUF?
-Does NYR bring more fans to BUF than what BUF has at MSG?

4) How did the turnout of BUF fans at MSG compare to when BUF is at the Devils or Isles?
-Does BUF have a much lower turnout at MSG?

5) Somebody told me BUF had 20-40% of the crowd. I find this IMPOSSIBLE to believe.
I thought I heard some cheers, but not that many, and I saw very BUF fans.
It sounded more like there might have been a small concentrated area of BUF fans, but not a widespread turnout.
5-8% tops.

I would think BUF would not have too many at MSG and definetly less than what NYR has at BUF.
I would also think BUF would have a lower turnout of fans at MSG than what they have at the Devils or Isles.

I say this because
1) The Rangers play in the biggest market and are one of the most popular, oldest, storied teams
2) Buffalo is from a small market
3) The Devils and Isles have MUCH easier tickets to get

Was this the case?

The game was announced as a sellout but I saw a lot of empty seats?

I've never really noticed an abundance of Rangers fans at the HSBC Arena, by the way. I have been pretty surprised to see that San Jose and Detroit always seems to draw a lot of fans when visiting, though. It's interesting to me.

I wasn't at the game, but, has anyone ever noticed the lighting at MSG? It looks darker on certain parts of the ice than others. Just curious.

This Bluecountry fella (or ladeh) has professional-sounding word-usage habits. Sounds to me like someone trying to gather data by using cheap (read: free) sources, like message board users that follow the team that played the Rangers.

First, fuck off. Second, New York (city) doesn't deserve two teams - they never fill a rink. That wasn't a sellout crowd.

You posted these bullshit questions before; be it here or in another forum. Do your own damn research. I'm not writing your article for you.

Easier tickets to get? Why is that? Fewer season ticket holders? Less of an attraction to the sport? You can't get tickets in Buffalo because 80% of the townsfolk are fans. 20-40% of the fans present in MSG (not the "sellout crowd" that supposedly attended) were Sabres fans. When it comes to hockey town rankings, Buffalo has lead the league for YEARS.

If I were to guess, I'd say "Yet Another Retarded Thread"

That'd be a good guess, actually.

I think a good old-fashioned thread-jacking is in order.

Hey, everyone, LOOK AT THAT FAT COCK

You post nothing to these boards except your wacky ass 'questionnaires' after Buffalo/Ranger games.

We don't give a shit.

fuck you. the rangers may be in a big market, but they have shit for fans. that game last night was clearly not sold out. It looked like a fucking canes game. Buffalo probably had 8 times the TV ratings for that game too. That's why MSG gives us our superior announcing team because our fans are a force to be reckoned with and NYR fans are a bunch of fickle douchebags.

What did this guy do to you guys? I know everytime we play the rags he asks these questions but...they are not there to offend anyone.

That is the best way to collect data. I guess the world should shun some of you when you go to write your next article/paper.

We're not a research institution, not is our board membership even close to large enough to provide reliable data for anything.

Besides, it if was truly research, it wouldn't contain commentary and opinion, not conclusions like:

Quote:

2) Buffalo is from a small market

The size of the Buffalo market means dick when talking about Sabres fan attendance AT AN AWAY GAME.

He's a douche. That is all. If he wants to collect data from us, don't be timid. Say what the fuck you're here for and why you're collecting the info. Don't be "secretive".
